Brighten your Eyes and Skin, Moisturize your Lips and Look Natural

© Anna Cristofaro

With a little concealer, blush, tinted lipbalm and curled eyelashes you're pulled together and out the door in no time. Here's how...

Here are a few very quick tips to looking luminous and naturally beautiful if you don't have all day to primp.

Apply concealer. Yellow toned concealer is best, no matter what your undertone. The "tap and roll" method - tap a little concealer on the blemish/dark circle with your finger, and roll back and forth - warms up the product and allows it to sink nicely into your skin.

Curl your lashes. Don't be afraid of the eyelash curler. A good one, like Shiseido's, won't pinch your skin or give you 90 degree angle lashes. Get as close to your lash line as possible, and curl once. Move to the middle of your lashes and curl again. Voila. You've probably heard this before: lashes are like awnings. Lift them and let the light into your eyes.

Blush like you're falling in love. There are so many different types of blush available: powder, gel, cream, and mousse. The different formulations sometimes work better on some skin types than others - mousse, like Clinique's, lasts all day for oily-skinned gals, while cream formulas look gorgeous and dewy on the drier skinned. Powder works for everyone. As for color, choose a shade that's as close to your natural flush as possible. Apply on the apples of your cheeks, and blend toward your hairline.

Use a tinted lipbalm. These provide just a hint of color, and what's best, they don't need a lipliner or mirror. And not only will your lips be kept from cracking, they'll look perfectly plump and luscious.

Smile. It's an instant facelift. With a luminous smile, you may not even need the other stuff.
