Makeup and a love story all wrapped up in one cosmetic company. Physicians Formula all started when a doctor fell in love with a sensitive skinned gal.

Dr Frank Crandall, an eminent allergist, created a line of cosmetics for his wife who had extreme sensitive skin. Physicians Formula has not and will not allow fragrance PABA, or any other of the 132 skin irritants that are often in cosmetics. Since the company began in 1937, the commitment has been for product purity, quality and style. Even though Physicians Formula creates products made for sensitive skin, it still keeps up with the latest style and fun that cosmetics should be.

Physician Formula has many products available such as skincare, cosmetics, and cosmetic accessories.

Most of the skincare products available are for sensitive skin. Physicians Formula has a cleanser, toners, and moisturizers for dry to normal as well as extremely dry skin. They do carry an Oil-Free moisturizer for oily/blemish prone skin. As well as a product called, Color Corrective Moisturizing Lotion. This product helps diminish redness, even out skin tone and protects the skin from sun damages with a SPF 15.

Physicians Formula has many fun cosmetic products available. In fact, I would purchase their products just for the packaging alone. The packaging is so beautiful, yet cool as well. Plus, their products are beyond mainstream with cosmetics to fight age lines, dark circles, and even out skin tones, plus a line of mineral products called Mineral Wear.

After trying several Physicians Formula products, I have been beyond impressed with how well they look, apply and stay all day.

The Circle Rx Circle Control Concealer truly lives up to the packaging. After using this product for almost two months, I have noticed that my dark circles are not as dark. In fact, I can almost get away without using the concealer at all now.

The CoverToxTen50 Wrinkle Therapy Foundation did go on well and stayed on all day. I do not think it covered imperfections as well as other foundations I have tried. I also did not like the brush that was attached to the bottle. It just didn’t work very well for me.

The Baked Collection Eye Shadow is AWESOME! I love this eye shadow. It is easy to use wet or dry so one can go for a more natural effect or try a dramatic look for evening. I also loved being able to use the dark color wet for a more natural eyeliner.

Even though I liked all of the Physicians Formula products, my favorite was the Plentiful Thickening Mascara! This mascara was the best mascara I have ever tried. It did not clump at all. I was beginning to think that ever mascara was clumpy, but not this one, it is perfect. I will be extremely loyal to this mascara for the rest of my life. There is none better in my book!

Physician Formula is easy to find, mainly located in 23,000 stores such as Target, Wal-Mart, CVS, Albertsons and Walgreens.

I threw out my Physicians Formula Mineral Bronzer when I did not see their name on the list of safe cosmetic companies. I better go pull it out of the trash can before it gets taken to the main dumpster. I thought of asking why they did not sign the safe cosmetic campaign but that would be silly if they are the leaders - they don't need to sign if they are already complying w/ safe ingredient in their product. My appologies for tossing this product in the trash. I'll try and do my homework prior to any future reactions.

I noticed that Physician's Formula now carries Organic Wear, a product I can wear....eyeliner and eye makeup for hazel eyes and purmineral Cheek Blush. I'm so glad someone finally came up with the Organic Wear because I haven't been able to wear any eyeliner nor eye shadow for some years now at the advice of my opthamologist due to ocular rosacea and the occasional "pink-eye". I love the purity of Organic Wear and it's done so much for my self-esteem.
Again....thank you so much!

I am new to the Physician's Formula product line. I am searching for an "all natural" (like organic) line of cosmetics and skin care products. Can you tell me......have I come to the right place?

Yes, Physicians Formula has an organic line. If that is what you are looking for, I would highly recommend it.

I have been using your products for at least 10 years and have always been very pleased. I was disappointed when the company changed from the "cake-type" foundation to the liquid. I still use the liquid but it does not have the same coverage as the other. Is there a possibility of ever bring the 'cake-type" back? Or can I still purchase it online?
