Robert Jones, a Professional Makeup Artist, has worked with many companies including: Mary Kay Inc, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman and magazines such as Marie Claire, In Style, Elle, and Modern Bride. He has written several books on cosmetics and makeup application, such as: Makeup Makeovers, Beaute Made Simple, Simple Beaute and Beaute Occasions. His latest, Makeup Makeovers: Weddings is not only a book that will benefit brides and bridal parties; it is also an asset to anyone who desires greater knowledge of cosmetics.
Jones philosophy is to enhance the natural beauty inside of a woman. “True beauty is not about being the made-up ideal of the perfect beauty, but instead it is about having self-confidence and loving who you are. This book also gives information to help enhance your bridal pictures. Of course the wedding is something you want to look back on with the perfect pictures. With tips given by Robert Jones, you will be able to have the best wedding photos.
As well as including information for weddings, this book also contains information for different makeup looks and techniques that apply to everyone. It gives information on different formulas and types of cosmetics plus extra information such as how to apply false eyelashes.
The pictures in this book are amazing; in fact, they should be defined as art. The book is beautiful to look at. Makeup Makeovers: Weddings also gives great application pictures so the featured makeup looks can easily be duplicated.
I loved this book. It has become my favorite makeup book to refer to for my own makeup needs as well as makeup concerns for customers and friends. Makeup Makeovers: Weddings gives great information that is beneficial to everyone. I will recommend a copy for every bride to be as well as any woman in your life. This book will be an asset to everyone wanting to look their best, wither it be for their wedding day or for everyday.
